I got ripped off on a battery.

My VW tiguan died so I bought a Super Start Platinum from Oreilly's since it was the only shop that was open on a sunday and nearest to me. Less than a month, car wont start.

Went back to the store to have it exchanged, the guy over there told me to wait in my car and he'll be right out, said he needs to help the customers in line after me. HE GOT ME WAITING FOR 30 MINS AND COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT ME! SO i went in, i told him I was waiting outside, then he just shrug and continue chatting with the other employees! So one other employee went out and checked the battery and said the battery is good but its the alternator is the problem.

So then I got that fixed, (i dont think it was the problem, but did it anyway, spent $700 on new alternators). After a week, car died again! Got my car towed, the towing guys checked the battery too, they said its low. So we took it back to the mechanic to check my car again, mechanic showed me that the prob is the battery.

The alternator was good. The battery drained again. So I went back to oreilly's (again!), told them they have given me a bad battery and had me go through all of that. They checked their system, and couldnt find my record, that was just a month ago.

Thank God I have a copy of my receipt on my phone, i told them im not driving back home to get it. So yeah, they ended up replacing my battery. I just cant believe how they dodge on honoring warranties and really *** customer service. I don't know, maybe its different in every branch, but i just saw the reviews that they have bad customer service overall.

Never buying from them again.

Now, i'm going to see if this NEW battery they gave me will die again. I will really ask for a refund if it dies again.

This company tried to accuse me of stealing. I was the Store manager at location 1171 and when they realized I wasnt stealing, the parts they were looking for were still in the store, they still fired me. They claimed some BS policy violation which wouldve been my first write up in seven years.

My stater broken Friday I change and yesterday again why sale parts *** and I have warranty for life and the store for E street in San Bernardino ca. not want change because say my warranty is expired when I have warranty for life the ho mo se. DISGUSTING FRUSTRATING

TOOK.ME ALL NIGHT TO TRY BUYING A SUPER START JUMP STARTER ALL BECAUSE MY SUPER START WAS FORGOTTEN AFTER A FRIEND HAD BROUGHT IT TO ME. STARTED MY CAR CLOSED THE HOOD AND LEFT WITHOUT THE ONE I USED PROBABLY 20 TIMES! THAT'S ALL...I USE JUST A SMARTPHONE MEANING I CAN'T SEE ALL THIS!

I just spent $360 on a air conditioning compressor. And the part is defective. In addition to the price of installation, I also purchased compressor oil and 3 cans of Freon. Help!!!

Hello i have a serious complaint

I went to oriellys in las vegas New Mexico an when I walked in one of the females who's younger was wearing a gang ophillated jacket that says banditos on it there a know biker gang I don't feel confrontable able going in anymore cause you never know of there's gonna be a biker shooting again

Rude old man at counter

He gave me wrong hub/brake rotor,went back in with my son I told him I needed the right hub and he says well guys if you knew what your doing it would make it alot easier on me,says you two don't look mechanically inclined..I said what the *** is your problem sir,just what does a mechanic look like to you,he mumbles back ,not like you guys,what in the *** is this gray haired old *** thinking,in 59 yrs old ,I know how to work on cars,I have for 40 yrs+

Won't uphold a warranty

Have car battery that is not in my name and they won't up hold the warranty do not never buy this battery

Battery for truck

The post on the battery screwed out when I tried to remove it and they just looked at it all crazy wanting to say its not covered it was gotten when I bought the truck I told the owner that wanted he went to Oreilys and got one it last two months left the battery and warranty papers on there deck counter and told them that they can kiss my natural *** interstate is the way smart folks go

User's recommendation: Don’t get the battery it will not hold up and they don’t stand behind them it’s a shame the interstate battery has been on my other truck 9 years and holds good charge.

In store # 2810 the manager allowed an employee to come back to work without having a doctors release form, The employee was sent home because he was really sick. The District Manager informed the store manager that the employee had to have a release form from a doctor to be able to come back to work. Now all the employees and customers could possibly become sick due to negligence. This is the same manager that is outside on her phone and Evaping everytime time I drive by which is quite frequently. There should be some kind of reprimand to the manager for putting everyones health in jeopardy.

User's recommendation: Store #2810 Beware the manager thereis no where Tobe found unless your outside smoking or talking on the phone. Sheet everyone's health at risk by letting a sick employee come back after 2 days without a release form.

Horrible cheap worthless parts

I bought three motor mounts from this company & I am totally unsatisfied the cost of labor doesnt go away for removing & replacement so I am well over $1k in repairs already this is non refundable so this is definitely an eye opener.: everyone in America hates to waste hard earned $$$

Inept manegement and company far too many losses from them

They know nothing they always state the manufacturer'recommendations. They need to look up every single thing. When I used to work in parts places I knew almost everything. I received compliments and awards.. I always refused customers offering me tips. I would even install parts. I am boycotting orielleys and possibly autozone. I will only go to Napa and smaller independent auto stores. They refuse to compensate me for my losses and conveniently forger my purchases I'm a retired US deputy marshal. I had spent thousands of dollars there. Never again.
