Over the Ellijay Ga store

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a new engine from these people and a new rear-end. The rear-end was loud for a new rear-end and it started leaking from the pinion seal 3 weeks after I purchased it.

Now im getting the run around from them and the mechanic. There is supposed to be a two yr warranty on the rear-end. The fellow named Steve wants to talk loud and tell me its on the mechanic to call them and told me there is nothing they can do about it...

I will never buy anything from any of there stores again. Absolutely terrible business!

Oreilly auto parts.com sold me a fake, counterfeit maf sensor!!!!

Oreilly auto parts.com was very helpful in every way! They gave me an email label to return the part, but I couldn't seem to get the label from my local library.

So I called Oreilly.com again and a gentleman named Manny helped me out and I'm so grateful for his help! He told me to go to my local Oreilly auto part store to give them the part and they returned it for me, and my funds were credited to the original payment method with-in 3 business days instead of 3-5 business days. I would absolutely order from Oreilly auto parts again because it isn't their fault that there are many counterfeit parts that are flowing through the supply chains nowadays.

Oreilly auto parts.com is a legitimate website for genuine parts! It happens to the best of us, and no fault from Oreilly website!

Terrible service and having trouble finding out about what is going to be done to fix this leaking rear-end

The ellijay O'REILLY about parts employees are horrible. I spent over 7000 dollars on an engine and rear-end.

The rear-end was loud and started leaking from the pinion seal 3 weeks after purchasing it.

I was yelled at by a fellow Steve who works there telling me the mechanic has to call the rear-end place there is nothing they can do about it. They are absolutely horrible to deal with and any time ive called im put on hold for atleast q5 minutes or longer..

Don't do any business with this establishment. They have no accountability.

They want your vin number to guarantee the right parts and still give you the wrong parts and when you realize it they won't exchange the parts cause the box is torn that they did. i was caught in a thunderstorm while attempting to replace my parts and surface rust appeared just plain peons

FORMER EMPLOYEE

As a former employee, the company does not care about team members, treats managers like crap, pays them a salary, will not let them hire people, then expects them to maintain a store with 4 people, 3 of whom are part-time, working 7 days a week and firing you for defending yourself when a customer lays hands on you or takes a new hire's word over an employee who would call out and leave early with some excuse. Then, they file charges on an employee who has gone above and beyond to keep a store running, who also is a single parent and put his home life on hold for the company, then produced where they got another supervisor fired for the same thing.

The company needs to pull their head out of their *** and go back to the old ways of training team members, taking care of team members, and taking care of customers. O'Reilly's used to be the best; now they are headed for the gutter if things do not change.

Bad Service and parts

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Bought a starter at the St. Paul location and it was pretty big bucks, almost $150 for a rebuilt starter but we had to fix our vehicle.

We were never told this was a rebuilt starter and after I put it in the starter failed 3 days later. Put in a new GM AC Delco starter and the truck is fixed. Went back for a refund and the crap I got was unbelievable. I am a retired GM master tech so I have tested, installed and fixed many a starter.

Oreilly's used to be about the best place to buy parts from now it's the WORST.

Last time I have to wait at their local warehouse 1 1/2 hours for a $5 gasket, while 8 employees were sitting out on the bench. Lady came out to tell us they were short handed, should have learned after that incident not to go back, will not happen again, I'm done with Oreilly's.

O’Reillys is ranked number one in their knowledge of parts, as well as in mechanical questions that a customer may have. But as far as the customer care service , your employees show total disrespect

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Your store, gives liberty to customers to borrow to leave their ID and return the tube upon my return the tool that I borrowed they told me that they had thrown away my ID. It was less than a week of not having a tool.

Yet they had no answer for me and all I was told is my ID mustve been thrown away. Had it been amount of money or something of that nature I wouldnt have had a problem with it, but an ID in the work that it takes to get that accomplished again to get the ID back or my drivers license is difficult and time-consuming not only did they simply throw my idea away, but even before borrowing the tool, your employee displayed total disrespect to their elders.

And from my standpoint, I was being very respectful to your employee, but yet I didnt receive any of that respect back just to puffed up full of pride individual and this guy was quite young and thats not good at all not for the OReilly name, as I said, you guys are outstanding and the way that you have more knowledge and understanding in comparison to all the other auto parts stores thats my opinion. Thank you.

Can not get store to take back auto parts

Well, I bought some parts that the dealership would not use a few months ago and now, because I don't have the mechanic's phone number, they are still new and in the package. I bought these rotors around my birthday in September of 2024.

Since then, I got the dealership to put their parts on and now, these are just lying around. I wanted to take them back, perhaps get something else, but they said they could not take them back. Please help me.

I need other things for my car and the mechanic isn't around at all. Also, I don't have the receipt, sorry.

Horrible parts and warranties

Contains 10 confidential files for company representatives
Updated by user Sep 18, 2024

They refuse to refund me for any of the defective parts. This place is horrible.

Original review Aug 19, 2024
This place is horrible. The manager Mellisa got into a verbal altercation with me about returning some items.

I felt disrespected and not listened to, it was an embarrassment to have her represent this company like this? I am disappointed as this company used to be a place that I would shop for my local auto parts. If my warranty is no good whats the point of doing business at any of these stores. I just want my money back and I will go elsewhere.

This is the products and services they sell with a horrible attitude and horrible dameaner.Mellisa got very belligerent with me and started getting nasty I wanted to return battery and brakes the warranty with this place means nothing they sell the cheapest part and could care less about its customers. This woman needs to find another line of work if youre going to treat its customers so poorly. I have not had a good experience on the woodville raod location, I am hoping that the company can do something to clean up the mismanagement that appears to be going on at these O'Reillys auto parts, I mean if the parts are good you don't need to swap them out three months later. They refuse to do any returns, this place is horrible.

I hope you can avoid this place at all costs. They don't honor any warranties, I went into this store and nothing was done. I had my receipt and the part, nothing in the warranty states that I have to accept another part. This is horrible they need to fire this melissa woman, as her own co-worker told me to call coproate on her as she was acting very unprofessional to me and all of the other customers going into this store.

My check engine light with the p2271 code is still on and they sold me all this crap stating that this is what the issue. I was not sure if they were mechanics or not at this store? I am wondering if they have mechanics working at this location? I am sicking of purchasing parts like a battery that is under warranty and having the manager at this location refuse to help or serve me.

I was never told that I could never have a warranty for any of these items and they should all be replaced under warranty. I would like a refund for all of these items.
