I work at an Oreilly's store and we do walk out into the aisle and assist customers with wiper blades and also offer to put them on the car for you if the vehicle is there at the time and have also put on wipers from competitors stores that refused to do so. Corporate policy encourages all employees to step out from behind the counter and assist the customers' up to a certain point. It just depends on the store your in I guess. Oh and also alot of the employees work multiple jobs so don't make decisions on their abilities and backgrounds just because they are selling car parts

I don't understand you are in a diy store! They only sell parts they are not mechanics. (Well some think they are but notice they are selling parts at min wage you do the math). Lets see you are a woman and you do not know every thing? When did that happen?
